FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS

Are you an angel company? For sure. Use Stampsmith stamps to create hand-crafted items for sale. Show us!
Do you ship worldwide? Yes. We will ship anywhere and we aim to keep your shipping costs as low as possible. We use the U.S. Postal Service's Global Priority envelopes and boxes that have a flate rate, depending on your country. If it's an itty bitty order for a stamp or too, we'll use a regular envelope. If you don't see your country in the drop-down menu at checkout, please email estelle@stampsmith.net to add your country.

How do I get free shipping? If you're in the U.S. and your order comes to $100 (before shipping and excluding sale items), you get free shipping. If you're outside the U.S. and your order is over $100 (before shipping and excluding sale items), you get the equivelent of free shipping in the U.S., or $5 off your shipping cost.

Will tax be added to my order at checkout? Alas, only if you are a resident of California or New York States.

Which credit cards do you accept?  We take them all (Visa, MC, Amex, Discover).

Can I Pay by Paypal?  You betchya. Just choose that option at checkout.

Can I make any changes once my order is submitted?  Sure, just shoot Estelle an email.

I want to talk to a human, is that possible?  Absolutely. Call Estelle at (631) 547-5922 Eastern time.

Do you sell your email lists?  Yuck, blech, never!

How do I get free rubber?  Each order gets some free rubber surprises.

How do I get even more free rubber?!  If you get published in any of the rubber stamp publications (such as RubberStampMadness, Somerset Studio, Stamping Arts & Crafts), and you give The Stampsmith credit, just let me know and I'll reward you with luscious free rubber.

I'm new to rubber stamping and need ideas and a community. Where to go?  Come on over to the Stampsmith Yahoogroup. We have over 1,600 members. You can also follow The Stamsmith on Facebook. Do visit the Stampsmith blog for more inspiration. There, you'll find the Stampsmith Challenge, where you can submit stamped art using stamps from any company and win a Stampsmith gift certificate.

Which mounting method do you recommend?  There are so many ways to mount rubber stamps. We are fans of a simple, fast and inexpensive method that uses foam board. You can also use an acrylic or other mount.

How can I get good results with photostamps?  You'll find great tips here. But the basics are simple dye inkpads used with glossy cardstock and cushion to support your stamp.

Does The Stampsmith attend rubber stamp shows?  The Stampsmith has a booth at several shows on the East Coast, mostly in spring and summer. And every fall, The Stampsmith, along with The Stamping Ground, co-hosts the Greater New York Art Rubber Stamp Show. This is our 11th year!
