Put your stamp on anything with YourStamps!
Custom rubber stamps for yourself or someone special. You decide what images are meaningful. They are truly YourStamps.
Over the years, many people have asked me if I could produce rubber stamps for them with the same high quality they've come to expect from the Stampsmith. That inspired me to offer YourStamps, a service where you can have your own personalized sheet of rubber.
You can put ANYTHING on such a sheet, not just vintage images of your family, though that is very popular.
Think of: Caricatures * Kids' footprints * Drawings * Letters * Handwriting * Family photos * documents (historical) * Return address
Signatures * Title page from meaningful book * Wedding stuff * Vacation spots / photos/ ticket stubs / ephemera
Family phrases * Pets * Celebrity idol (family actors, singers, entertainers, nuclear physicists, town councilman)
Religious or cultural symbols * Song titles * What you're showing off on your fridge
Think of the sheet as a gift for yourself...for family and friends...as a party favor for wedding showers, sweet sixteens, communions, bar/bat mitzvahs...as a keepsake for relatives...a way to show off your artwork/photos on Christmas or birthday cards.
The possibilities are truly endless.
The details:
Cost: $125. Covers set-up fee and gives you the first sheet of 8.5 x 11 inch sheet of rubber. Shipping within the U.S. is included.
You will scan each document or photo at 300 dpi and email them to us. (Do not mail originals of any kind.)
Choose images that are crisp and fairly high contrast. Avoid fuzzy images and old color photos.
We'll tell you if any are not suitable for rubber stamps.
We'll arrange them on a sheet and email you a proof for final approval.
You can print out your images and arrange them onto an 8.5 x 11 in. sheet of copy paper as a test to see how you like the size or look of what you're sending.
Additional sheets $21 each. The original board remains on file so that you can order more rubber at any time.
If you only one or two images pressed, the same fee would apply. You might consider making multiples of the image. But think hard, you'll probably come up with others.
Brought to you by Estelle Smith and business partner Jack Sherman, who is a former art director and illustrator of the Balancing Act and other sheets offered by The Stampsmith. We will work on the computer to clean up and optimize the images you send us.

Here's a sheet of rubber stamps made with themes from Estelle's world:
My friend Susan Leclerc stamped these cards using the stamps from my sheet:

Margaret had a sheet of stamps made up of images of her mother and family,
which she gave as gifts to her sisters as well.
She made a lovely card, below.
